We found this Gas Saver piggy bank it looks just like a metal gas can. It tricked us but when you read the graphics its really a piggy bank. We paid $10.00 and it will go great in our sons Disney Cars / automotive theme room.
Any info would be great on this I would be curious how much it's worth. All my years going to auctions, garage sales, and flea markets I never remember seeing something like this.
I found mine in the basement when my son asked for pennies to send to Japan for the earthquake relief. I got my can for Christmas in 1984, just turning 16 that year. It looks just like your picture. I don't know how much it is worth, but at least you can get a feel for the vintage. Brought back fun memories seeing it.....trying to save money for gas!
