I got this set from coke a cola, they were having some promotion going on when you bought a coke you could buy the helmet of the month, for i think it was 3.99. but i got the complete set and never opened them. they were made by riddell in chicago il. I have had them at lest 10 years. on all the helmets that are normally white, in this set they are mother of pearl colored .
those are pretty sweet. I used to have the saints and seahawks helmets but I lost em.
I also managed to get the COMPLETE set. What many do not know is this, There are 34 helmets in this set from Riddell Color Chrome Mini helmets. There is a Coke helmet, Diet Coke helmet, and a Sprite helmet. But a very nice set even without the other 3. And I'm not certain if they were even offered as part of the sale. See I had all of them except for the Redskins wich was not on the display, so living in a small community I asked the store manager of the odds of getting one. Well about 3 days later I went to the store on my break and she had it, The "one" to complete the set. Or so I thought. She then reached behind the counter and said the delivery guy was surprised as to how quickly I got all of the team helmets he gave her the 3 other helmets that I knew nothing about, the Coke, Diet Coke, and the Sprite helmets. A great score for me.
