    These were in Mom's china cabinet for years and unfortunately she didn't tell me anything about them. When I took them out I was taken by how delicate they are. I'm not even sure if the pitcher and bowl are a creamer & Sugar, they seem so big! From what I've read I believe that they are brown transferware.

      Your cup and covered dish are part of toilet set. The mark you have shown is from Globe Pottery Co., of East Liverpool, OH and was used about 1898. Part of the mark that has worn off would have been the word Nautilus and a nautilus shell.

      I've finally gotten back to the site you suggested and I'm soooo appreciative for the help. The pieces "made in Germany" are actually from Silesia (Poland) around 1883. I've identified the Ohio mark with your help. Thank you!!!
