Mystery hand build heavy African Nudes theme Mug

hi, hope someone can help with the name of the potter of this very heavy hand built pottery mug. It features carved decoration of nude men and women with anatomically correct details. Possibly African but I think more likely a studio potter of some skill. Carved signature MORMCY ??? or somesuch. Age?? Help...
