I am in possession of a game that I cannot find any information on. It was made in USA by Milton Bradley, probably in the 40s called ANAGRAMS "The original game of words and sentences". It has an ID number (product number I guess) of 4719-4720. I searched the Milton Bradley site and it is not listed. Anyone have any idea of when it was produced. My wife played with it in the mid 40's she recalls.

It's easy to find lots of information about the game. Just Google "Milton-Bradley" Anagrams, and you'll find lots of results. It's a very old game, dating from around the turn of the century, it looks like, with a variety of graphics and styles through the years. Although I didn't find the date for yours, it's probable that it's from the 1940s. The 1930s editions had different box graphics. From the auction sites, it doesn't seem the game has a very high value, but it's a fun game, and would make a nice addition to any collection!

Thanks for the info. Will look it up. I really hadn't considered selling it but may. I also have another game of hers called Great Automobile Card Game "Touring" by Parker Brothers copyright 1937 and 1947. I couldn't find anything on it..... guess I'm looking in the wrong places. Ha. Story of my life :o).
      Have a great day!
