I found this Slot Machine along with a Car Trunk that I put on yesterday in a friends attic. No key so I had a lock smith make keys so I could give her the nickels out of it. Of course, there were buffalo and V nickels in it! When I was able to open it is how I knew the name on a back panel because o the outside all it has is serial numbers on it and not the name. The year is clearly on it. What I don't understand is what the two long clear glass slots in the front are and the middle square glass. Not sure what is suppose to be there. It doesn't work atleast I have to admit I put a nickel in and pulled the handle but it would not move. The things that go round (whatever they are called) with the bells or circles of different colors and on them have funny sayings like: A Side Show Freak, You will make a date, A Dutch Emigrant, Who is Always Hungry???? Wierd stuff. I know nothing about old slot machines but this one intrigued me. They are legal here in WA. We have casino's all over but don't see alot of old ones...or atleast I haven't. Not sure what its worth or how to fix it but the panel I took off has instructions and that is where I found the name so I may have to take the time to try and figure it out for her. Fun piece anyway! Not sure what category to choose for this so will leave at general until someone helps me figure it out...thank you to whoever does that! Great site. Glad I found it!
