just bought it, just wanted to know what it really is.

Yup, Thats the roller block that takes the hay on the track to the back of the barn. I have the pulley that hooks on the bottom of it. Will post a pic of it soon!

I just got a comlete set of block and tackle from a barn i am deconstructing. Love it, but dont know much about it. What price should be fair to ask for such a gem?
