    3 recipe books hand written has cut outs from papers and magazines some cartoon strips of patsy from the daily mirror so the books must be 40s or 50s they were among other items from a family who had connections with jamacia there are 100s of recipes in these books jamacian red pea soup, turtle soup,flying fish pie,turtle steaks,pigeon pie,romany rabbit pudding,irish rarebit, cho cho fritters,paw paw stewed,paw paw ice cream are just a few of them i was wondering who would these be of interest to

      That's quite an awesome find! If I had to guess, I might think it was compiled by someone in cooking school perhaps. It's quite different from most families, who simply collect individual recipes over a period of years.

      thank you for your comment i think this family had servants maybe it was one of the cooks they were involved in a bannana plantation in jamacia
