This vintage mirror is 33 3/4" round. It was found stuck back in a corner so I don't know anything about it except the size and what the pictures show. I would love to know how old it is.

Could the initials stand for United States Indian Division?
Interesting because I live in Indian Country! Do you know how or where to find out information about that. I guess I can google it! lol Thanks, well worth trying with that information.

My mother remembers that it did indeed have something to do with the Indians, more specifically Osage Indians. I think maybe it was stamped to show it was the possession of an Indian so they either couldn't sell it or it couldn't be taxed or something like that. I've been trying to find some kind of history behind it, but haven't had any luck. I'll keep trying, though.
