This item is the limited edition, sterling silver 1973 inaugural plate of Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, serial number 06936. The plate is in a felt-lined box, with black cloth-covered boards and gilt embossing. The plate shows well, and is bright and clean, measuring approximately 8" in diameter. The box shows some age/wear, with tears in the marbled paper along the bottom and top edges. Sold recently at auction.
