I am trying to figure out if this knife is silver and its worth. I know it is a Gladwin Ambassador Plate made in England but that's about it.

Hi Mcwouden,
It is as you have detailed. The company produced much Ambassador silver plate. A single piece of silver plate of no great uniqueness tends to go for less than $5. Please, accept this just as my opinion, not an appraiser but a buyer of silver.
