I recently acquired my late grandmothers guest bedroom furniture and am at a loss. I cant find a safe place for them and they have so much sentimental value its hard to part with them. They were in her home for over 50 years, my mom suspects longer. With what I assume is a walnut veneer, they have their original casters and siderails and they really are in beautiful condition. Ive had a heck of a time researching them without a "worthpoint" appraisal, but sadly the only makers marking is whats left of a paper tag. Check out the pic, it leads me to believe it was made in New York:) Anyone know of early 1900's furniture makers in New York whose work resembles these beautiful matching twin beds???
