This is a portfolio for the UAW Truck-Trailer Council. There is a calender left inside from the '60s, which is when the owner retired entirely from working.
This belonged to my great grandfather, Raymond W. Reed. He was president of REO Motors UAW Local 650 for 20 years, the longest serving president of that union. He also served as president of the International Truck and Bus Council, listed in the Who's Who of Labor and worked for REO Motors for 43 years.
