This tie belonged to my great grandmother's brother, John J. Gordon - his photo is shown above.
This is a Hand Tailored: Resilient Construction neck tie with the Pat. No. 1,447,090, with the date Feb. 27, 1923.
It's a very neat "heirloom," I suppose it is considered an heirloom.
