This doll is very unique but I do not know anything about her. Would love to know what she is made of and how old she might be.

She is a real sweetheart, very different!
It looks to me that her body is that of a hime (princess) daruma-shaped kimikomi and she is wearing the Heian era outfit of a female pilgrim.
What a sincere look she has on her lovely face!
