    Hi
Picked this up while I was in Thailand and I would like to know more about it!
There is no markings on it what so ever and it looks like it is made of clay with a glaze!
I find the four loops on the top interesting and I am guessing they were used to seal the cork or bung!
Any info would be helpfull !

      Thanks Jim,
      Any idea of age?

      Hi Jim
Yes there are a few brown almost rust like pits in the glaze which may or may not be an indicator of age.
I spoke to a gentleman who referred to it as a five clawed dragon which is Chinese not Thai.
So I think OR I am more like guessing its Chinese not Thai.
I have bought a lot of antique Chinese related items at the Sefpua Road (not the right spelling) market in Bangkok so I would not be surprised if it was from China.
I read that it might be a trade jar but I am still at a loss!
Thanks again for your input every bit helps!
      Luke
