I recently purchased this bench off Ebay. I live in Manhattan and wanted to to create a nice dining area that wasn't as typical as the circle table with 4 chairs like you see is so many NYC apartments. I don't know much about the piece, from the user I get the feeling that is pretty old. It is one piece, very sturdy and besides a few chips in good condition. Has anyone ever seen a similar piece? I would love any possible information. I am so curious about the possible background. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
