Here is a souvenir spoon I received with a larger purchase of salt spoons. I was surprised by the detail. Very tough to clean but it has an interesting finial. My best guess is German. It lacks the Halbmond & Krone, but I am not sure if they were required on these types of spoons. I just thought I would add this for kicks. Enjoy!

The lack of the reichmark might suggest earlier than 1886.
But it is a small item as you say.
So I had a look at the maker's mark.

How about Christoph Widmann, Pforzheim (founded 1919).
      A small item.

Yes sir! Vetraio50 saves the day again! I believe you are correct, do you think the lack of the crescent and crown is because of the date or because it is a souvenir spoon?

      thanks bellin68 and mustangtony!
