Carved Green Stone Geisha Girl???????????

Brought at a charity shop for an unheard of £6! She is 43 cm and weighs 879 grams. I think she is skillfully carved/molded but is quite crudely stuck on base of same material. Behind her on the base is a wire sized hole. Her proportions are all out. Over sized hands, small head, un-naturally elongated stature but taken on the whole she looks beautiful, elegant and serene. However she can also look superior, judgmental and mean! She feels hard (although she has lots of scuffs, so I'm not convinced the material is that hard), slightly waxy. I don't think the material feels particularly cold. Would love to know if she is a Geisha or Royalty, if she is hand carved or molded, what she is made of and what was her original purpose. Having a serious love / hate relationship with her!
