I found this iron whilst Fossil hunting on Cayton beach in North Yorks. It was sticking out of the clay cliffs after a high tide. I cleaned some of the debris and rust with a wire brush. Our neighbour in the next caravan offered to sand blast it and blacken it. It's brilliant and I love it. Using as a door stop. It has number 5 on it so I'm assuming it weighs 5lbs
