old radio mic possibly 40s or 50s HELP IDENTIFY! PLEASE!

i worked @ WLBJ AM radio in Bowling Green,KY 1974-79
this mic was in storage @ the time & have since found this old photo of it in use...can anyone i.d. the mic for me.

the station went on the air in 1940 & continued to broadcast til the mid 90s.
this mic was not in service when i arrived in 1974.

any ideas?
