This salad set was made in 1936 at the Gladding McBean, Glendale, Ca plant. My father in law was a jiggerman & made this prototype. They are satin ivory glaze. I was told that " if they did sell them it would have been in a very small amount or else as a special order for a store". (This information comes from the Franciscan museum). I enjoy finding out everything I can about these, Have you ever seen a set ? Would love to hear from you.
