I purchased this piece purely out of curiosity , I have never seen one like it before ,the seller said it used to have a stand that it sat upright in but it was lost ,so for photo purposes I used a small plastic cup.HA! Thanks to every one who shed light on the fact that this is a pretty cool Art Deco style Airplane lamp shade !
Maybe it's a lamp shade?

Thanks everyone ! I would have never guessed it was a lamp shade , now that I've seen what is suppose to look like , I must find the stand ! Nice Deco!
