This is a bowl I picked up at a garage sale a couple of months ago.
I am sure it is Chinese and I would say it is quite old. It is quite large,
and has what appears to be, dragon fish handles with an oriental design around the perimeter, it looks like it is finished with a cinnabar glazing.
I love the colour, the style and the size, and I must say it is very unusual,
I have never seen one like this before. The size is 18" nose to nose, the diameter of the bowl is 12.75" and the overall height is 8".
Any insight on this item, would be welcome, thank you.
