About The Collectors Weekly

Welcome to The Collectors Weekly, a resource for collectors and people who love antiques and vintage items. Our goal is to create a great place to explore and learn about collecting, and a showcase for the passion and knowledge of collectors everywhere.

The Collectors Weekly is published by San Francisco-based Market Street Media LLC. Our office is in the old Folger coffee plant (built 1904), a couple of blocks from the once mighty Southern Pacific Railroad headquarters, the renovated Ferry Building, and the historic Bay Bridge (not to mention the vintage streetcars, fireboats, cable cars, etc...).

The Collectors Weekly is run by Dave Margulius, who collects antique telephones, porcelain signs, antique railroad and printing items, and vintage furniture. Other team members include Maribeth, who's into vintage cameras and photographs, Andrew, a recovering stamp and coin collector, Jessica, who collects Snow White memorabilia (from the 1937 original, not the remake), Melissa, who collects jewelry, and Ben, who collects vintage music posters. Also lending a hand occasionally is Eric, who collects tobacciana, especially vintage lighters.
