This is the Telechron “Tellebel” (1933-36), initially known as the “Telecall”. Among the several options this one come with brass (shiny) case and with a black Bakelite molded base (~33,744 sold). This is an alarm clock and what makes it different from similar ones, from the same time, is that this one was the first with the ‘stop’ alarm on the ‘Top’ of the clock. Honestly, I have no idea if it is true, but it is curious to observe that all other alarm clock from that period of time have the alarm-stop on the back of the clock!...
