      According to the Singer web site your machine was made in 1909 . It started out as a treadle machine . Someone has put it into a case and put a motor on it .

      It is a Singer 27, one of 30,000 commissioned October 26 1909. DobbinDee is correct it has been converted to electric portable, probably at the place which is shown on the sticker
