I bought these girls at an auction today. The dresses all have tags that say Little Women with the Dolls name and Madame Alexander on them. All the shoes and clothes look original except for Jo's shoes which are velveteen and I believe have been replaced. I am just looking for any information that you might have about them.

Beautiful set Of hard Plastic series of Little Woman by MA . There was also one more in set Madame Alexander hard plastic Little Women dolls from the 1950’s. The dolls include (Marme), Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth. All original gowns, You don't have Marme but you have a very nice set ! love them

PS don't display them in an area that gets direct sun on them and I would keep in a cabinet with glass doors to prevent dust getting on them . That was meant for all your collection .

Thank you so much!! I imagine that they will be for sale. I came across them at an estate sale and there was very little interest in them so I bought them. I don't have a collection and really no place in my house to keep them. It is funny though how quickly you can get attached to them.

They have good value I am sure you got a good deal if not much interest you were at right place at right time ! I would keep them had found them :-) enjoy your treasures . Not all dolls are equal in appeal and MA dolls from this era have held well in today's secondary market . I enjoyed seeing them all . I am glad you posted for site too .
