If you don't know what you have how do you qualify the statement that it is a very rare design? I was just wondering how you came to that conclusion.

Have you seen one like it? I am asking for an opinion, do you qualify to answer?

Hi teta, welcome to Collectors Weekly. I would say ordinary folding chairs from that era. They may be from a Masonic Temple, but I don't see any symbols in the photos or documentation to support your claim. In your photo they do appear to be wood, they do look like they fold, and seem like nice chairs. But Pier1 imports sells similar if not the same items in their stores nationwide. Lately I am seeing a lot of posts like yours on Collectors Weekly, from many asking "$$$info$$$" on their item, with only post 1 item on their collection. I suggest hiring a licensed Antique Appraiser if you really believe these pieces are the genuine article and only desire monetary appreciation for them. This site is of collectors & appreciators of collectibles old or new, and enjoy chatting with others that share the same interests. I can see an interest in your items but one photo that is out of focus and under poor lighting doesn't help. Additional photos of the underside, backside, closeups or even the full set of 7 will help. What exactly is the info you are seeking about these?

Hi tom I do appreciate your warm welcome and opinion, this is new to me and I will follow your advice with better pictures. I understand this site is for people who collect & appreciate collectibles old and new, I am a newby, yes my chairs are of wood and do fold and may look ordinary to a newcomer as myself. You ask "what info do I seek about these chairs"? You pretty much explained that this site is for seasoned collectors and not ordinary people like myself looking for people to share something that is a new experience. Sorry I interrupted your seasoned site....and will pass on your message to others.

No, that's not how I meant it. I'm all about these chairs and would love to see more. Please don't don't misunderstand me. I am really bad at texting and typing without sounding standoff-ish.
