I would like to know about the mark on this item. 1.) What Dynasty is it from? 2.) Is it real or a fake? .... It is 12" tall and is 5 3/4" in diameter it weighs 2 lbs. 1.7 oz. With four dragons around it.

Check out Chinese marks for Wanli 1573-1620
Never believe a date mark on Chinese porcelain as being a guarantee of age.
They are and were notorious for putting early marks on later pieces.

It say made during the Ming Dynasty. Most likely a repo from Southern China in the 20th Century for the Western market.

I agree that is definitely Wanli in style but a late copy. The painting and overall decoration is way too sloppy to be a Mark and Period piece. Never believe the mark unless you can accurately date if by tieing in Shape, motifs, painting style and other factors which will identify the piece.

Agree all above, just want to say, the shape of vase was invented in 20C.
