CAST IRON, THIS IS A POSITIVE STOP SIGN, USED ON BRANCH LINES
WHERE THE TRAIN MUST STOP BEFORE A CROSSING AND THE HEAD BRAKEMAN GETS OUT AND FLAGES THE TRAFFIC TO A STOP TO ALLOW THE TRAIN TO CROSS. I HAD AN OVAL STOP SIGN FROM THE NY.NH.&H.RAILROAD CAST IRON AND HEAVY
