    Picked this trunk up today at a local yard sale and I think it's beautiful!!!
    Any clue on when this was made and for what? It's definitely not wood & seems to be leather... Any info would be great!!

      Nice design to this old trunk -- not leather but two colours of vulcanized fiber made to resemble leather but much more durable. Probably dates to around 1910-20's or so. Nice extra guides on the front and sides of the lid. Thanks for the post!
