I came across these in a box of stuff at an auction. I was intrigued but did not have a clue as to what they were. I could tell they are handmade and the balls are all glass. There are lots of bubbles in the clear glass and the orange is more solid color. The small cranberry at the top and bottom of clear glass are see through. There are no markings. They weigh 2 0z. each and are approx. 4 3/4" long. The large clear glass is 1 1/2" across. I live in an area with a 1842 cavalry fort and there are lots of grand houses. (Fort Scott, Kansas)

I agree, very nice tabelcloth weight. The solid color could be bakelite?
