This was in a jewelry box I rescued from a burn pile. The box had been my uncles first wife, and they divorced by 1970. I'm using that to guess it is 50's or 60's. It is made from a thin metal, non-metallic and a silvery gray color shows on a few worn spots. It totals 4 1/2 inches, with the clip part being 2 inches. The chains are 1 1/2 inches each. The "tail" part swivels both ways and the catch?fastener? on the chain splits to open. I doubt its worth anything, and that's fine. But I have been trying to figure out what it is for about 5 years now, and not knowing bugs me. Thanks for any help or even suggestions of other places to check!
google "antique glove clips" - if you just put "glove clips" it will show a bunch of plastic junk so either "vintage glove clips" or "antique glove clips"
I did and it is. This is what I get for listening to my father-in-law,he said it wasn't and I dissmissed that idea. Thanks!
Glad I could help
