    These 2 chairs have been in my family for many years. The needle point is original and both chairs have rollers. The detail work on top appears to be glued on not carved. Just looking for any information to help in identification.

      My first impression was Eastlake as well but I am under the impression that Eastlake is generally carved and he was against gluing on decorative ornaments. The decoration on the top of these chairs is glued on not carved into the wood.
