Dexter No. 3 Improved made by Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co. Chicago, IL USA. Dial on the side for 6 different pencil sizes.

According to sharpener, patents ran from 1900-1920 with other patents pending.....

Still sharpens!!

   i have 1 but its got a hole in it the top part but it still works great last time i put a pincel in it was 5 years ago i will sell it ok bye

   the one i got its got patents dates that run from sept 13 192o or 1921 on it i got dates 06/09/1900 04/05/1904 05/01/1906 01/01/1907 them i can see1915 1918 and 1919 r years that i see i dont no if that helps u all or not all i can say is it one good pencil sharpener i think its brase not shore

   I have two of these pencil sharpeners . I use them all of the time . We have had battery operated ones and the ones you hold in your hand and turn , but I like these old pencil sharpeners the best .

   I bought one at a local goodwill store for two dollars,and its in better condition than any,I've seen photographed here...

   I paid $15 on ebay for mine....ouch!. A little oil and it works great.
