Went to google and found this :
Balcrank acquired the “Brookins” product line in 1932 and changed it’s name to Balcrank in 1943

Personally I remember using these in a 'service station' to put bulk oil into cars and trucks that we serviced. I don't remember if they were branded 'Brookins' or 'Balcrank".
I hope this helps. ther are some similar on E-Bay too.

I have went with my dad to the, 66 service station that this was use at.
