Found this basket at an estate sale today and love it! Anyone know what kind it may be? I thought Asian rice basket, but really don't know.. Regardless, the attached base and 2 weaving patterns make it really unique! The base appears to be hand cut long ago and the edges were hand carved to take off the edge.

Never seen one -- but could be *up-cycled* to be used for someone that Knits (for ball and needles) as a holder
