My very very early steiff monkey.i believe?.. Approx 10 inches high swivel head.. Wired feet and hands....felt face hands and feet, glass eyes and not jointed at the shoulders... When standing his arms almost touch the floor.. Very ape like..
I am not 100% certain this is steiff... However all ID checks appear to to point out it is...
I love it because of its age./ condition...Must have been loved very much

He is wonderful ! I am not sure he is Steiff made could be Schucco or Herman or a few other old companies . He would have a hole in ear if a Steiff . Love him .

Thank you so much... He does have the string loop attached to his chest which I believe is where a a paper tag would have attached when new..however I cannot see any hole inside his ear.. Thank you so much for looking at him... Kevin..
