I scored this awesome dresser for a great bargain and I am thinking about painting it but I don't know any thing about its age and I would hate to ruin it. I have found several articles and read them but I am new to this. Any advice would be great.

    Thank you!

Research Lenoir Furniture Corporation operated by the Broyhill brothers circa 1920's - it appears they changed the name to Lenoir Chair Company around 1935. The company later became known as the Broyhill Furniture Company. - I would sand and refinish that in it's natural wood rather than paint it, but that's up to you.
