I've been looking for one of these for a couple of years. It's not terribly valuable, but the history of it is pretty cool. Billy Carter was President Carter's brother. He was known for his drinking and he started this beer as a way to capitalize on that fact, and the fact that his brother was president. It wasn't very successful, as it only lasted a few years. Another cool aspect is that this particular can was brewed and package in Cold Spring, MN, about an hour from me. I also have a Cold Spring crate, one of my first posts on here.

I used to work for a beer dist. and we sold Billy Beer that was put out by The Pearl Brewing co. out of San Antonio. We also had the pleasure of selling J R Beer and MASH. And you know what?? They all tasted like %$#@!!!

In the Mid-West this was brewed by Falls City Beer, and probably tasted no different than their other brews (which is to say, not good).
