I have had this piece as long as I can remember.. I love it but once again there is no identifying marks on it. I am trying real hard to learn but it is hard when I don't even have a way to look things up on the net. Does anyone know anything about this? I don't even know what category it goes into.

      A very nice jar. :)

Thank you Katherine. So I should be calling it a jar instead of vase? I am new and really am trying to learn.

Well a vase usually doesn't have a lid, I don't think. :) One of the Asian experts may come by and leave a comment on your vase/jar, and tell us both for sure. :)

Thank you again Katherine. This is all overwhelming but it is so interesting (and very time consuming) :)
