I just think this brooch is beautiful even though it is missing two stones on each side of it. I bought it in order to fix it up. Wondering if anyone would know when this piece was from and if I were to replace the two missing rhinestones what color would you think they should be? I don't know the time period it's from but I was sort of thinking they would also be amber to match the larger amber rhinestone. Any help would be appreciated!!
This is a nice piece, probably German and I would say its in the art nouveau style. As far as the stones I would go with amber but you may want to make sure its not real gold and amber topaz. Regardless of "real" its great!
