I am trying to find out the vintage of this model 117.305 sears kenmore sewing machine. We know it is manufactured in Japan, it has a sears kenmore motor model 5151, a good housekeeping magazine seal with the serial number 2678 referenced on it. Any information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Saw one on ebay in images, but that ad had expired.

I just purchased the exact same identical cabinet with your matching numbers, but with an Imperial Kenmore Rotary machine inside. Maybe the machines have been swapped out. I am in the process of trying to find out more on my machine.
