There is very little history. I was able to confirm that this dresser was in the family during the early 1900's. There are no markings on the back, bottom, or drawers. However, there was a name of a gentleman who passed in 1890 that is consistent to the previous owners story. The face of the drawers is unlike anything I've seen, hand carved or manufactured I cannot tell, the craftsmanship looks to be hand made or a very good fake. The dovetails looks to be hand cut with little markings to the side for measurements. I am trying to find approximate age, style or even the type of wood, and even the name of the pulls.

Highly unusual, looks somewhat like 1920's-1940's art deco carved, but cannot see the carving very well in photos. More like tramp art the carving.
