      Patch is shown sideways-- that's a tree and axe head.

      It is the 70th Infantry Division "Trailblazers"-- fought in Europe during WW2 and I believe deactivated after the War. There have been later Training and Headquarters units that have continued to wear the patch.

      The back of your patch shows what I would expect to see in a WW2 era patch.
