Item found in rafters of 1923 garage. Sitting alongside this tool was a stack of rounded wood planks all cut the same length. Thinking it may be a wooden bucket form tool but cannot find anything similar. No manufacturing marks or patents. Spring seems fairly modern? Any thoughts?
