I dug this medicine bottle at an old plantation not to far from Savannah. The plantation was built in the 1700's. It is hard to find bottles at these places because they dumped so far away from the house. If they dumped near the house it would bring the mice in close. The snakes would follow the mice for a meal... Big Rattlers. This medicine bottle is about 1890's time frame. The most brilliant violet cobalt blue glass bottle that I have ever seen.
