    I bought this at auction the other day. It is definitely old and appears to be made of hide and wood and hemp or something like that. The paint is peeling off :( . It measures about 15" wide and is 9" tall.
    It has a scene painted on the top and another one on the bottom; both are very colorful. On one side it looks like someone is playing a drum like this one while another person is next to him. They are standing in a field. The side is decorated with a brown and white stripe and groovy flowers.
    It looks more Mexican than native american to me but I don't know much about either.
    Any thoughts?
