A back rest device for sporting events or concerts. This backrest is one of the first of its kind dating back to the early 1930's made by the Rest - Well Products Co. 415 W. 127th St. NY N.Y. This odd chair is in remarkable condition for this type of lawn equipment, so it really deserves to be in a sport memorabilia collection or museum. I purchased this chair along with some old sports equipment at an auction in Peoria, IL back in 1991 and its been boxed up in storage ever since.
